Privacy Policy

PoshKit (“the extension”) is a browser extension that adds time-saving tools to the Poshmark website for sellers managing their own closet. Your privacy is simple to explain, because the extension is built to keep your data on your own device.
- The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data.
- Everything it saves stays on your own computer, inside your browser.
- There are no outside servers, no analytics, and no trackers.
- We never see your templates, your sales figures, or your Poshmark account.
What the extension stores, and where
The extension saves the following using your browser's built-in local storage
(chrome.storage.local), which lives only on your device:
- Message templates you create.
- Profit Tracker entries you enter (item names, costs, sale prices).
- Your settings and preferences (stale-listing thresholds, daily share limits, which closet is yours, tool options).
- Simple local counters (for example, how many shares you've done today) used to show your Stats window.
This information is never sent to us or to any third party. If you remove the extension, this locally stored data is removed with it.
How the extension interacts with Poshmark
The extension runs only on poshmark.com. When you use a tool that performs an action on your closet — such as sharing, relisting, delisting, changing a price, or sending offers — the extension asks Poshmark to perform that action using your own existing Poshmark login, exactly as if you did it yourself on the website. This communication is between your browser and Poshmark. The developer is not a party to it, does not intercept it, and does not receive any of it.
The extension performs these actions only when you start them, and only on the listings in your own closet. It does not run on a background schedule and does not act on other sellers' items.
Free trial and payments
Message Templates and the Stats window are free. The rest of the toolkit requires a 7-day free trial (no credit card required to start it) or a paid plan, handled by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), a third-party payment service for browser extensions, using Stripe to process payments.
If you start a trial or subscribe, the email address you provide and your payment details go directly to ExtensionPay/Stripe — never to us. We never see or store your card details. We only ever learn whether your account is on a trial or paid plan, so the extension can unlock its tools. Read ExtensionPay's own privacy policy at extensionpay.com for how they handle this data.
This is the only data that leaves your device. Your templates, profit entries, and every other setting still stay local, as described above.
Data we collect
None, beyond the trial and payment status described above, which is handled entirely by ExtensionPay/Stripe. The developer operates no server and receives no other data from the extension.
Permissions
storage— to save your templates, profit entries, and settings locally on your device.- Access to poshmark.com — so the tools can appear and work on Poshmark pages.
- Access to extensionpay.com — required by ExtensionPay so it can tell the extension when a trial starts or a payment completes. This is the only other site the extension can access.
The extension requests no other permissions and works on no other websites.
Remote code
The extension contains no remotely hosted code and does not use eval(). All of
its code ships inside the extension package and is reviewed by the Chrome Web Store.
Children
The extension is intended for adult resellers and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change, and the updated policy will be posted at the same link.
